S.O.N. was created to showcase a curated collection of Nelson's best establishments, destinations, and activities. Every profile we create will eventually feature a 3-5 minute episode. In doing this, we hope to produce compelling content that features Nelson County's best-kept secrets and widely acclaimed attractions.
Our Story
Secrets of Nelson was created by Paul Hess in 2024. Paul was born in Nelson County in 1991 and is the son of Tim Hess, who was part of the original team that developed Wintergreen in the 1970s. Paul moved home from California in 2020 and joined Wintergreen Real Estate; where Tim Hess was a former partner and broker before being acquired by Pacific Group in 2019.
